Install the plugin. In Claude and ChatGPT, the IAJUS plugin installs the skills and the MCP server in one go, from the public marketplace rafaelob/iajus-plugin-public-pt.
Add the MCP connector. On the other platforms, you add IAJUS.pt as a custom connector with a single server address and sign in with OAuth 2.1 using your IAJUS account. You do not need to paste any key.

Portuguese case law, with a defined scope. The skills guide research, citation checking and coverage lookup. This connection does not serve legislation, legal scholarship, the in-force status of laws, reading the full text of decisions, relationships between decisions or Lex search. Check the collection and the time of each measurement before concluding that a source is covered, and confirm each citation in the record and at the source link.

Any client compatible with MCP and OAuth 2.1 connects through the same single address: Cursor, VS Code, Codex CLI, or your own application.

How does sign-in work? It is always OAuth 2.1: the client opens the sign-in page at app.iajus.com.br and you sign in with your IAJUS account. There is no static key to paste into code. Without authentication, the server refuses the connection on purpose (it answers 401 until you sign in). The scopes are openid, email and offline_access. Review each tool's permissions: precedent search can send low-confidence records for further checking.
Ask as you would ask a colleague. IAJUS.pt covers the case law of the Portuguese courts through DGSI (Supreme Court of Justice, Courts of Appeal, Supreme Administrative Court, Central Administrative Courts and Court of Conflicts), and of the Court of Auditors through TCJure. For the Constitutional Court, the DGSI database is a historical mirror; the tribunalconstitucional.pt portal is the official source. Check the provenance of each link.
Legislation from the Diário da República and the official journals of the Azores and Madeira has been collected, but the tools connected to your assistant do not search it yet.
